The first day of our travels will begin on Friday, October 22 as we leave Canada to stay at Beachwood for 2 nights. On Sunday, October 24 we will drive to Seattle to stay at the Larkspur Landing Hotel in Renton. We plan to have dinner with our friends Teresa and Bruce Spears.
On Monday, October 25, we board Air France Flight AF 0309 at 1:45 pm in Seattle for a 9:50 airtime to Paris. Arriving in Paris at 8:35 am October 26, we have a 5:30 hour layover.
Then it's off to Madrid at 2:05 for a 2 hour flight arriving at 4:10 local Madrid time.
I've included videos to most of the places below in bold. I'll post pictures as we go.
We will be staying in the Hotel Florida Norte, across from the Principe Pio Mall.
October 27 we will visit the Almudena Cathedral and the city of Toledo, the Toledo Cathedral and the El Transito Synagogue.
October 28 we will view the Plaza Espana and the Royal Palace. We will then take the Ave Train to Barcelona and stay at the Catalonia Plaza Hotel right in the heart of the city!
Octobr 29 we will tour Barcelona and see the city's most famous landmarks including the Olympic Villiage, Port Vell, Columbus Monument, Guell Park, Paseo de Gracia, Casa Batllo, La Pedrera and Montjuich. La Segrada Familia (Gaudi's church) and Las Ramblas will also be included.
October 30 we will be on our own in Barcela.
October 31 we board Royal Caribbean's Navigator of the Seas for 21 days! I'll keep you posted.
